Send me your photos!
Ok, heres the deal. As we all know The Infinite Staircase is going on some dinky tour with these two bands called Black Label Society and Sevendust. If you haven't heard of them, you can access their website to the left. They might have had a song or two played on the radio, not too sure, but check 'em out. *cough*

Anywho with sarcasm aside, because sarcasm and the internet mix well... this is a big deal. A HUGE deal actually. So you, the TIS fans and friends, are now faced with a mission: taking photos. Any photos you get of the band, no matter how crappy, send them to me at: michelle@stasismag.com

In the email include:
-Your Name & Address
so we can send you band stuff to show you our appreciation!
-Watermark Info
if you don't have you're own watermark, we'll make one for you... we want you to get the credit you earned. A watermark is text that goes in the corner of your image
-The Photos
thats kind of the point of the email.

So get those fits in the air, make sure your digital/phone is in it and take those photos.

Please remember:
1. Cameras + Beer = Not good
2. Cameras + Mosh pits = Not good

Peace out my nerdss!

HEAR NEW SONGS!! + TOUR DIARY INFO, ALBUM PRE-ORDERS, & MORE!!!!!
So...here we are...It is now almost 5 in the morning on March 17th, 2009 (Happy St. Patty's Day fellow Irishmen and women). What a long road it's been... I can't believe we are literally DAYS away from leaving for our first Tour, our first MAJOR Tour, and with bands like BLACK LABEL SOCIETY & SEVENDUST!?!? Only in dreams my friends...

I can't even begin to explain the nerves going through my system right now. We are working our asses off and hopefully it will show. Our first test comes on the 24th in Iowa.

And though we'll be on the road for about a month, we do plan on keeping everyone up to date as much as we possibly can. In fact, several of us will be writing Tour Diaries... Get Your Bookmarks ready!

Lenny's Tour Diary will be available on: Anti Music Network at: http://www.dayinrock.com

Jeff's Tour Diary will be available on: METAL SLUDGE at http://forums.metalsludge.tv/forums/viewforum.php?f=1

Jared's Tour Diary will be available on: SPLATTERTRIBE at: www.splattertribe.tv

And, schedule permitting, we're hoping to be constantly updating everyone with photos, videos, and everything and anything that we can while on the road.

IN FACT, we are making a public plea of sorts, asking that anyone who comes to the shows and sees our sets, please take pictures and videos, whether with a pro camera or your cell phones, we would LOVE to have you all contact us and send us anything you may end up getting of us on the road. We really want to document the hell out of this. So if you take a picture, or videotape 30 seconds of our set, if it's not too much trouble, please contact us here or at HAIRPICK@aol.com We would be much obliged.

Now, on to some other business... The Album you ask??? Well, it is currently available for PRE-ORDER and will be available for shipping and normal ordering really any day now.(You can also read the lyrics to the entire album!) Expect to see it on iTunes, Amazon MP3, Rhapsody, Napster, eMusic, and all of those other fun Digital Distribution Sites within a month or so. And with any luck, we will have the album in stores across the country by the Summer.

Many more details regarding the album will be announced very soon via Press Release and Blog. We are very excited and really can't wait for the world to hear what we've been putting our blood, sweat, and tears into for all of these years. The Road Less Taken is our vision brought full circle. I hope you all enjoy it. And for a glimpse into our souls... Check out the main page www.myspace.com/theinfinitestaircase for some full length and some clips of the FINAL Mixes and Masters of 6 songs!!!!!

That's all for now... but we'll be back soon with more... ;)

STUDIO/ALBUM UPDATE FOR 2009!
So...it's 2009 now...so I thought - "Hey, let's give an update on our own personal "Chinese Democracy" ~ because if you ask me, it feels like it's been 15+ years for us to get this album done - but I digress lol. Besides, as Lenny says, perfection takes time, right? Well - something like that. But it has been a very busy 6 years since Lenny and I first released our 6 song acoustic EP. And now, songs new and old will be brought together for our new offering...which we have decided will officially, no longer tentatively, be called "The Road Less Taken."

Our insanely amazing graphic artist Michelle is now hard at work on the art, logos, photos, etc... for the album as well as the BRAND NEW MERCHANDISE which of course will be available on Tour Next Spring when we hit the road with BLACK FUCKIN' LABEL SOCIETY, SEVENDUST, and DOPE (And yes, if you ask me, BLS should add the word "Fuckin" to their band name).

But back to the actual album for a second...I am ecstatic and in disbelief to tell you that we are ALMOST finished with the recording of the album. For those of you who don't know, we actually built our own studio and have been recording this album entirely by ourselves and HOPEFULLY, we will have some AWESOME news on who's Mixing and Mastering the Album soon ;) - but let's take this one thing at a time. And we have a lot of new songs, some refreshed and reworked versions of older songs that you've only heard demos of up to now, and for those who have been with me and Lenny musically for longer than one can remember, we even have a few songs that will shock you guys! In fact, we have enough songs to release this album and start a tracklisting for our second album! We are still toying with the idea of releasing an acoustic album simultaneously with the full length (as opposed to a double disc like we always spoke of) but we'll see how the next few weeks go.

We will announce the Official Tracklisting AND an official Release Date as well as Details of a possible CD RELEASE PARTY as soon as possible! Be on the lookout for the Cover Art when it's finished as well!

In the mean time, thank you all for your continued support. We can't wait to see you all on the road. Buy your tickets now because we hear they're selling very fast!!

*ALSO*

Thanks to some EXTREMELY Dedicated and AWESOME Fans - we are now in 8TH PLACE on MTV's SOUNDTRACK CONTEST!!!!!

This can help place our music in various MTV Programming (I guess it's the only way a Rock Band can get on MTV these days lol). So Please, if you can spare a little bit of your time here or there, please go to:

You can vote ONCE PER HOUR!

Thank you very much in advance. And Thank You Immensely to those who have been voting all along the last few months! We appreciate all of your support.

Cheers!
